Tree Tots Volunteer (Tree Tots Volunteer at Howe Park Wood)

Did you know that The Parks Trust runs a weekly outdoor play session for 0-5year olds at Howe Park Wood? Taking place each Thursday, parents and carers bring their children to the woods to get muddy, splash in puddles and enjoy fun activities outside in all weathers.

We are looking for a volunteer who could help us with setting up and packing down equipment; welcoming visitors at the start of the session; and engaging with both children and adults during the session. The role would also involve wheeling a trolley filled with equipment for around 50m, as well as some lifting of equipment.

The purpose of Tree Tots is to encourage children and adults to play outside in all weathers, inspiring them to learn about nature and local wildlife and generally get them excited about being outdoors.
